We are delighted to have signed up Louis Charalambous to publish a tell-all on his adventures in the media jungle. Better Call Louis is a no holds barred look behind the scenes of over thirty years of media scandals seen through the eyes of one of the UK’s leading media lawyers. Below is the press release published on The Bookseller announcing our latest title. Cinto Press snaps up rights to ‘explosive’ new memoir from top media lawyer Cinto Press (an imprint of Bath Publishing) has acquired the rights to an “explosive” new memoir from top media lawyer Louis Charalambous. David Chaplin, publisher at Cinto Press, acquired the rights from Sonia Land at Sheil Land Associates. Titled Better Call Louis – in reference to the legal crime drama Better Call Saul – the memoir will be published in hardback on 20th November 2025. The memoir promises to “lift the curtain” on three turbulent decades of British media scandals as seen through the eyes of one of the industry’s top libel and privacy lawyers. From the fallout of Martin Bashir’s infamous interview with Princess Diana to the wrongful vilification of Christopher Jefferies and the downfall of Huw Edwards, Charalambous has been in the thick of it. Chaplin said: “Louis’ fascinating journey from humble beginnings to being at the centre of some of the country’s most prominent media scandals shines a light on what really happens in the eye of the storm, where truth often loses out to fiction.” Charalambous said: “I’m delighted to be collaborating with Cinto Press on this; they really do get the law trade. Telling the inside story on headline cases is a delicate balance and I’m in the best hands. They are helping me navigate three decades worth of media scandals, cock-ups and cover ups.” ![]() About the author Louis Charalambous has been working with newspapers, journalists and in the libel courts for years both as an inhouse lawyer at places such as The Sun and acting privately.
